Merry Christmas, Everyone! Today, we’re going to have our first Luxury Lowdown Luxury Haul for 2021! I always find it entertaining watching everyone’s luxury haul on YouTube so I thought it would be fun to make one of my own. I’m not well-versed on the YouTube front yet so this will just be a regular blog post for now, but maybe one day. Also, I’m not a crazy spender since my budget just doesn’t allow for it but I thought I would still share what I got this year! To make things easy, I’m just going to start in chronological order of when I got each item.

2021 Luxury Lowdown Luxury Haul
Chanel Suede Combat Boots Fall/Winter 2020
I bought these boots in Hawaii for my birthday this past February. You wouldn’t think of buying boots while you’re in Hawaii but I am a Chanel boot LOVER. So, when I saw these Chanel combat boots, I knew I had to have them. They were so comfortable and I wanted to take them up the mountain when we have our cabin trips. Unfortunately, we never made it back to the snow this year but hoping to take these beauties with me on our next big mountain trip! Also, just FYI, there was no Hawaii Special Pricing on these. Just the money you save on paying Hawaii sales tax.
Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Damier Azur
I bought this bag on the same birthday trip back in February. I had been eyeing the Neverfull for a while now and I didn’t really decide until the last day of our trip that I was going to get it. I was on a Paris trip last year and went to Goyard and found that the St. Louis bag felt too flimsy for me and I would rather buy the Neverfull instead. Well, since I was in Hawaii and Louis Vuitton has a special Hawaii discount, I thought this would be a great chance to purchase the bag. Also, since I’ve bought the bag, it is now my literal go-to everyday bag.
Louis Vuitton Reykjavik Scarf White/Pink
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or the blog, you would know that I went to Paris this past October. I vehemently told myself that I cannot buy anything on this trip. This trip was just to hang out with my best friend, eat good food, and drink great wine. Well, my best friend wanted to buy a new wallet so we went to go look at Louis Vuitton. I was only there to support her and maybe do research for the blog. Well, then I saw this scarf. I’m usually not the type of person who likes the logo to be so in-your-face, but I really fell in love with the PINK COLOR. I am such a sucker for pink! I did go back to the hotel to at least sleep on it but I kept looking at the picture that I took of myself wearing it and I knew I would be sad not getting it. Especially, knowing that it’s cheaper to buy Louis Vuitton in Paris than back in the U.S.
Louis Vuitton Louisette Stud Earrings
Once I decided to buy the Reykjavik scarf, it kind of all went downhill from there. I’ve been eyeing these earrings for a while now (even back when I was in Hawaii earlier this year) and I thought I’m not going to get these earrings anywhere cheaper so I might as well commit to them right now. I had my eye on these earrings because they were a modern twist on a stud earring since most of the earring is behind the ear. Also, if you didn’t notice, it makes one of the shapes from the Louis Vuitton monogram.
Chanel Logo Wool/Cashmere Beanie 2021
This Chanel beanie was my last purchase for the year and it was a spontaneous one. I was in Vegas for work and thought I would just “browse” the Chanel store just to see what they had. I asked the sales associate if they had any beanies and he showed me what they had but none of them caught my eye (which was a relief in my mind). I continued browsing the store and then I saw this beanie on the mannequin. I ask the sales associate if this one was for sale and he said, “honey, everything is for sale.” I literally stood in front of the mirror for ten minutes deciding if I should buy it or not. Eventually, another sales associate passed by and complimented me on the beanie and said it would be great to wear it to Aspen or the mountains. She must have been reading my mind because I was thinking the same thing. I was sold!
Conclusion
Well, I hope you enjoyed my first-ever luxury haul! I didn’t even know it mostly comprised of Louis Vuitton and Chanel this year until I wrote this post. I’m not even that big of a Louis Vuitton person but I must have really liked their items this year. It’s funny how some years you just tend to lean more towards a certain designer than others. Either way, I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, and please stay safe out there!
