Is it Cheaper to Buy Louis Vuitton in Hawaii?

Hawaii has special pricing on a lot of luxury brand names including Louis Vuitton so if you plan on visiting the islands soon, make sure you stop by and take a lot. please note that this is NOT an outlet store. This is a true retail store. The discount ranges anywhere from 5%-11% off the Mainland U.S price (before tax) depending on the item you are purchasing.

What is the Sales Tax in Hawaii?

It slightly differs between islands, but the current sales tax in Honolulu is 4.5%. If you come from Los Angeles as I do, you would know that this is already more than half off of our own sales tax.

Louis Vuitton Hawaii Customer Service

I’ve been to the Louis Vuitton Waikiki store almost six or seven times now and every time I go, I get the feeling that the employees don’t really like their job. I don’t know why, but they always seem a bit tired or impatient or just plain unhelpful. Like none of them smile! Has anyone else encountered the same service? It just never feels like a fun shopping experience for me which always makes me a little sad since I really like their stuff. Hopefully, the next time I go again, it’ll be a different experience. Fingers crossed.
