A few of you were surprised on my Instagram when I mentioned that I was going to the Celine Outlet so I want to dedicate this post to those viewers! Yes, my friends, there is a Celine Outlet and I even posted videos of it to my stories if you were lucky enough to catch it. When I visited Paris last fall, I fell in love with this Celine hoodie and I just couldn’t bring myself to splurge on it since I was tight on money at that time. There’s not a day that goes by that I regret not buying that hoodie. So, during my most recent visit to the outlets, I was really hoping to snatch one up!
Celine Outlet Location
The Celine Outlet location that I visited was the one in the Desert Hill Premium Outlets in Cabazon, CA. These outlets are by far my favorite ones to go to since they have almost every possible designer that you can imagine. These outlets are located about a 1.5-hour drive from Los Angeles and about 30 minutes from Palm Springs.
Celine Outlet Discount
The discount depends on the item. The sales associate (SA) said that all the purses are 20%-30% off and the ready-to-wear (RTW) is from 40%-50% off. After doing my calculations, it seems to line up with what the SA said. Overall, I personally don’t think the Celine Outlet has the best discount. When you compare to Gucci or YSL, it’s hard to think you’re getting a good deal when you’re only getting 20% off. Also, as you will see down below, sometimes you can find certain items cheaper online. This kind of defeats the point of the outlet, but at least you at the outlet, you can try the item on I guess.
Celine Outlet Inventory
I feel like I have to mention to my readers that if you are looking for any popular items or classic purses, you are not going to find them here. The sales associate told me that they literally sell whatever is left over from the store and usually, all the popular items are gone by that time. I was personally looking for a hoodie and the SA told me that they never get those there. Then I asked if they sell beanies and they don’t have them there either. The only items in the store I would have considered buying were the heels. There were some pretty gorgeous shoes there that were half off.
Wait Times
I went on a Friday around 1:00 p.m. and there was no line.
Customer Service
The customer service is exactly what you expect. They were helpful when you needed help. The only thing I really didn’t like is that they follow you around the store, but I guess it’s to be expected.
