When we originally visited Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park earlier this year, I had every intention of trying out sandboarding for the first time. Since I love snowboarding so much, I thought maybe sandboarding would be just as fun. Unfortunately, we got to the park later than expected due to some last-minute changes so we ended up just taking pictures around the sand dunes. If you are planning on visiting, the main thing that you

Everyone seriously needs to stay at one of these tiny homes at Escalante Escapes. It's located in Escalante, Utah, and is right outside Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Out of all the places we've been to, we were surprised to find such luxurious accommodations in a very small town. Have you heard of Peek-a-Boo and Spooky Slot Canyons? Well, I hadn't until I was searching for hikes to do at Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. If you have been following along on my previous posts, you would know we just visited Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Watching the sunrise over Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon was one of the most beautiful moments I experienced on this trip. I want to first start off by saying though that it was unbearably COLD! The coldest temperatures I've ever experienced in my life. Since we started before sunrise, the temperature outside was already at 0 °F. What I didn't factor in was the wind chill which made it -18 °F below! I was DYING.

I must have been crazy to want to hike Angels Landing in winter. I've been to Zion National Park multiple times during the summer, but never during the winter. This was going to be my first time. I seriously couldn't wait and was planning like a madwoman for months. I've never hiked Angels Landing, let alone in the winter, so I really didn't know what to expect. I've seen so many pictures and heard so
