I just discovered there’s a F1 U.S. Grand Prix Ticket Deal at Costco of all places! I went to the F1 U.S. Grand Prix back in 2021 and it was my first F1 race ever. I guess I have Netflix’s Drive to Survive to thank for that one! We just got the GA package which doesn’t assign you a seat, but lets you roam around the circuit grounds freely and lets you sit on any lawn that you want to. People actually say this is better than sitting in the grand stands since you get to sit in multiple locations throughout the race and can pick a different spot each day if you wanted!

Costco’s 2024 F1 U.S. Grand Prix Ticket Deal 

Right now, Costco is selling a 3-Day General Admission ticket to the F1 U.S. Grand Prix for only $354.99. The F1 race will take place at the Circuit of the Americas racetrack in Austin, Texas from October 18-20, 2024. Please note that the General Admission ticket does not give you an assign seat somewhere. This is a ticket that let’s you roam around COTA where you get to pick and choose where to sit on any of their lawns.

On F1’s official website, if you were to purchase the 3-day general admission ticket, it would cost you 420 euros so $464.55 USD.

 

If you were to buy it on Circuit of the Americas’ (COTA) website, they are charging $389.00 but after taxes and fees, comes out to $448.33.

Tips for Maximizing Your F1 Experience

1. Arrive Early: The Circuit of the Americas can get crowded, especially on race day. Arrive early to secure a good spot and take advantage of any pre-race activities. 
2. Dress Comfortably: Austin in October for us was absolutely humid and hot. We could not stop sweating. I would try to wear light colors and light fabrics like cotton or linen. With that being said, I saw all sorts of people wearing the most ridiculous things. So, I guess it just depends what your heat tolerance is. 
3. Explore Austin: While you’re in town for the race, don’t miss out on exploring Austin’s vibrant food scene and live music culture. We spent most of the day at the race track and then when into downtown at night to have dinner.
