There is currently a great Resorts World Las Vegas hotel deal that is going on with Amex if you happen to have the correct credit card! If you’ve read my other blog post, you would know that Resorts World Las Vegas just recently joined the Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts Program late last year. Well, now it looks like from January 2, 2022 to March 30, 2022 (now extended through Sep 22, 2022), Amex is offering a 25% discount on Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords Las Vegas! This is an amazing hotel deal, especially with all the benefits you get with the Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts Program. Let’s get into it!
Amex Platinum $200 Hotel Credit
Last year, Amex Platinum decided to add a slew of benefits to their credit cards and one of them was a $200 hotel credit. The hotel credit is only for consumer Platinum cardholders (not Business or Delta Platinum) and can only be used on prepaid stays from Amex’s Hotel Collection and Fine Hotels and Resorts. The best deal I’ve found to use this credit is booking a one-night stay in Vegas through the Fine Hotels and Resorts program. Las Vegas consistently has the lowest rates so you can really maximize your $200 hotel credit.

Amex Hotel Programs
The Hotel Collection and the Fine Hotels and Resorts programs are premium hotel programs that Amex offers to their cardholders. So, yes, to access these programs, you need to have one of their cards. Both programs offer a list of benefits like room upgrades, resort credit, etc. The main difference between the two programs is that the Hotel Collection usually includes a wider variety of hotels but requires a two-night stay. Fine Hotels and Resorts are Amex’s top-tier hotels and only require a one-night stay but usually is more expensive per night. Conrad and Crockfords are only a part of Fine Hotels and Resorts though.

Resorts World Las Vegas Hotel Deal with Amex
Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords Las Vegas are both located inside of the mega-casino complex, Resorts World. Both hotels are a part of Fine Hotels and Resorts (not Hotel Collection) so, you will need either a Platinum, Platinum Business, or Centurion Card to book these hotels. Although the best deal will be for consumer Platinum cardholders since you have that extra $200 hotel credit to burn. Up until March 30, 2022 (now extended through Sep 22, 2022!), Amex’s Fine Hotels and Resorts program is offering a 25% discount on hotel rooms at Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords Las Vegas. This means that both hotels have become more affordable and more importantly, under the $200 threshold which essentially covers your hotel stay!

Prices at Conrad and Crockfords
This is where things really get interesting. I’ve looked at all the dates up until March 30, 2022 (now extended through Sep 22, 2022!), and there are some amazing prices, especially on the weekdays. You’re probably wondering why would I go to Vegas on a weekday, but a lot of people are still working from home so why not work from home in Vegas? With the 25% discount, I’ve seen Conrad as low as $74/night (Feb 22-24) and Crockfords at $171/night (Feb 28-Mar 1). This is a crazy good deal seeing that both hotels fall below the $200 hotel credit. Essential your stay could be free! Well, minus the crazy resort fee of $51.02 that’ll you have to pay at the hotel.

Let’s Put This In Perspective
So, let’s say you have a consumer Platinum card and you have this $200 hotel credit you have to spend. You can potentially stay two nights and Conrad or one night at Crockfords and have it be completely paid for (minus the resort fee). On top of that, you get all the benefits of booking with Amex’s Fine Hotels and Resorts.

If you didn’t notice, Amex is actually giving you $125 of Food and Beverage credit. This is $25 more than the usual $100 credit they give for the rest of their hotels. I feel like Amex is literally begging you to come and stay here with the 25% discount and extra $25 amenity credit. The F&B credit alone covers the resort fee cost. This is not even factoring in the free breakfast that you get.
Conclusion
Essentially, if you have an Amex Platinum, Business Platinum, or Centurion card and plan on going to Vegas before March 30, 2022 (now extended through Sep 22, 2022!), you should consider staying at Conrad or Crockfords at Resorts World. You get all the benefits that come with booking a Fine Hotels and Resorts property along with a 25% discount. For people that have the regular Platinum card, it’s even more lucrative for you since you have an annual $200 credit that you can use towards your stay.
