This was my first time at the Burberry Outlet at the Desert Premium Hills Outlet in Cabazon and I was surprised by how big the store was. You walk in and there are a million things to check out. They have a wide selection of purses and a lot of their famous trench coats available as well. If you are from out of town and are looking for good outerwear, I would definitely check this location out specifically. Since it’s never that cold nor does it rain a lot in Southern California, this outlet seems to be well-stocked.

 

BURBERRY OUTLET DISCOUNT 

There’s no set discount across the board at the Burberry Outlet. An employee told me that on average, you’ll probably be seeing a discount anywhere from 30%-60% off depending on the item. From my research, that statement seems pretty accurate. I did notice one or two items that had an even deeper discount but mostly everything fell between 30%-60%.

 

BURBERRY OUTLET STYLES VS. RETAIL STYLES

I asked a sales associate if everything at the Burberry Outlet was from their retail stores or if some of their items were made specifically for the outlets. Her response was that there are a few items made specifically for the outlet store but most of the inventory comes from their retail stores. She also said if you see an item online, they will probably have it at the outlets about 6-8 months later.

I asked the same sales associate if there was a way to tell the difference between what is a retail item and what is an outlet item. She told me that there isn’t an easy way to tell without having to go through the whole system. She further explained that even the employees couldn’t tell the difference which I thought was kind of weird. She did further clarify that the quality is all the same though.

Looking through my pictures, I Googled all of the items and found most of them online so I believe her when she says that the store is mostly from their retail sites. If you’re at the outlet and unsure of a piece, I would just ask the sales associate to double-check or I would do a quick Google search on my phone. Burberry is pretty good about putting the name of their items on the tags.

The store is located on the east side of the Desert Hill Premium Outlets where all the other high-end luxury brands are.

BURBERRY OUTLET CUSTOMER SERVICE

I didn’t purchase any items from their store but I would say they have very attentive sales associates for how busy the store is. A couple of sales associates came up and asked me if I needed help with anything and told me about their specials. The line at the store wasn’t too bad either for a weekend. We probably waited no more than 10 minutes but this can definitely change during the time of day. There were probably two groups in front of us when we went but by the time we left, there were maybe 12 people waiting outside.
