I know the year is almost over but here’s the 2023 refresh on my Ultimate Guide to Luxury Shopping in Hawaii! If you didn’t see on my Instagram stories, I asked all of you what stores you wanted to see and I literally spent all Labor Day weekend walking around to all the shops for you. The Ultimate Guide to Luxury Shopping in Hawaii
This post will be an overall cheat sheet in alphabetical order of all the stores that I researched based on my recent trip to Oahu this past Labor Day Weekend 2023. You’ll notice that I made a separate full blog post for some of the stores which I’ve linked down below. I didn’t have the time to do a detailed blog post for each store, but I’ve at least spoken to a sales associate who has confirmed what the discount was (if any) for each store. As always, I would double-check with each store regarding their discount before you purchase. I know some of the stores I mentioned below do change their pricing once in a while.
What is the Sales Tax in Hawaii?
The sales tax changes from island to island, but for the sake of this blog post, the current sales tax for Honolulu, Oahu is 4.712%. I believe last year was 4.5% so it did increase a little bit.
Who is New On The 2023 List?
I’ve added Bulgari, Cartier, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Loewe, Rolex, Tiffany, Tumi, Van Cleef & Arpels.

This list is accurate as of Sept 1-4, 2023 (Labor Day Weekend). I have personally spoken to each store and this is the information that I received.
