Wynn Las Vegas Spa

For my birthday last month, I decided to treat myself and go visit the Wynn Las Vegas Spa to get a much-needed massage. I absolutely love getting massages and couldn’t have been more excited to finally try the one at the Wynn. When I checked in, the receptionist told me that during the pandemic, the Wynn Las Vegas Spa did a major renovation so I was going to be in for a real treat. I never got the chance to visit the old one but the new renovation is gorgeous!

Hours of Operation

The spa is open from 8:00 am-7:00 pm every day. Make sure you always double-check the website in case their hours may change. To make a reservation, feel free to call them at (702) 770-3900 or click here.

Booking Through Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts

There are a couple of reasons why I specifically picked the Wynn Las Vegas Spa as my birthday present to myself. First, I knew that I wanted to stay at the Wynn or Encore so I booked my hotel stay through the Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts Program (FHR). At that time, Wynn was a bit cheaper than Encore so I decided to go with Wynn. By booking my room through the FHR program, I was given a $100 spa credit to use during my stay along with free breakfast and a late check-out.

Second, I’ve tried the spa at the Encore so I was curious to see if the spa at the Wynn was going to be just as good. Lastly, I wanted to review it for the blog of course! If you’re like me, I always want to see what the spa looks like before I book an appointment so I took a bunch of pictures for you all.

Wynn Las Vegas Spa Price List

Since this is the Wynn after all, the prices aren’t going to be in your typical everyday affordable range. I got the 50-min Custom Massage and it cost me $180 (since it was on a weekday). If you go on the weekend, it’ll cost you $190. If you’re curious about the other massages and services, you can find the full price list here or you can also find it below. So, since I had $100 credit, my massage would only really cost me $80 + tax/tip. Keep in mind that tax and tip will be calculated at the original $180 price.

Wynn Las Vegas Spa Birthday Gift

Something sweet that the spa did was give me a box of chocolates since it was my birthday. I thought that was really nice of them since I wasn’t expecting it from such a big hotel. I feel that the bigger hotel you stay at, the less personal they are with the guests. So, I appreciated that they tried to make my day extra special.

Review

I absolutely love all of the lounge and seating areas of the spa. The co-ed lounge area is probably the most gorgeous room I’ve ever seen. It’s designed with these deep blues and purples that make you feel like you’re in space within the stars. The women’s lounge area is more bright and leaned more toward the warmer neutral tones. It’s nice to have both types of experiences and I definitely utilized both areas.

The massage room was fairly dark for my taste. I felt like I could have just fallen asleep! Regarding the massage itself, it was overall was pretty good. I don’t know if I can really say that it was great, but I feel like that about all massages (lol). Even though I love getting massages, I still think in the back of my mind that I just spent hundreds of dollars just to get a massage for 50 minutes. So, it never feels like the money I spent was worth it, you know?

I would love to come back to the Wynn Las Vegas Spa one day! I felt like I didn’t have enough time to really enough all the spa amenities since I had a late appointment and they close at 7:00 pm. I would have tried to spend more time in the jacuzzi or the steam room, but I guess I’ll just have to come back one day (oh darn)! If I would change anything for next time, I would definitely get an earlier appointment and try a different massage.
